| - I don't typically write reviews but felt compelled to do so so that hopefully they read it and change. Went in after work for a manicure before we left on vacation, so i was in a great mood and in vaca mode! First off, the technician (who by the way happened to be the manager) was on her phone for about 5 minutes, never asked me how I was doing or really even made eye contact. Once she got off her phone, I made the mistake of asking how her day was going and she proceeded to spend the entire time complaining to me about another customer. Now, I'm not one of her regulars that she's established a relationship with... I was a brand new customer. The rank went on for so long and then changed to another rank about something that frustrated her this weekend. I'm sorry, but I'm not your counselor... I'm paying YOU. I even went so far to hint to her by saying, we need to talk about something happier. It didn't work as she kept talking about this disrespectful customer. I understand everyone has a bad day and you can mention it, but it totally ruined my experience of getting my nails done, which I rarely do. The quality of the polish was ok but nothing amazing. And when I went to pay, she just yelled out $20 to the girl at the front- this was for a manicure with just polish, no gel, no acrylic, just polish and enough negativity to last me the rest of the year. Like I said, I'm not big on being critical of others, especially when they're doing something nice for me, but I left feeling sad, frustrated and annoyed which is not a great way to feel after I'm supposed to be getting pampered!
