| - Very disappointed in this company. When I initially placed my order for roll up sun shades, I was quoted 8 weeks for installation. I paid 50% down at that time. Just before the expected install date, I was contacted by Sun City Awning and was told that there would be a 4 week delay due to problems with their manufacturer.
At the end of that delay, I was again contacted by Sun City Awning and was told that my shades had been made incorrectly and that there would be another delay of a couple weeks.
After waiting for the 2 weeks, I was again contacted and told that there was now a problem getting the hardware. At this point, I cancelled my order, but was advised that only the owner could authorize a refund and was told that he would contact me. After receiving no response, I called back and was now told that I had exceeded the 72 hour cancellation period and could not cancel without penalty.
I contacted the BBB and filed an online complaint, and within 24 hours I was contacted by Sun City Awning. They stated that because I had been having so many problems, they would now refund me my deposit. Unfortunately, that refund took another call to the BBB and almost 3 weeks, to come in the mail!
