I posted on Facebook the death of my iphone today.
The death of my phone is like Clue, but not as fun:
The cat, in the bathroom, with the toilet.
Now I'm not one to worry about electronics, I have the iCloud, things are backed up. But the one thing that I didn't have backed up were the text messages between my Dad and I. He died just a month ago and loosing our electronic conversations was like loosing a piece of him again. *Cue the sobbing and hysteria*
After my FB posting this morning a friend told me about uBreakiFIx and my husband rushed the phone right over. (it was in Tupperware starting the dry out via rice method I found online.)
They gave my husband a quote of diagnostics and then told him all the possible charges. We needed to leave the phone for 24hrs but in less than 5 hours it was diagnosed and fixed and back in my hands. The text messages are there!!! (backing them up as I type)
My husband appreciated The Avengers movie playing and he knew that my phone was safe with them, and that they would be able to assemble the pieces.
I broke it, you fixed it, thank you!!!
