  • It's unfortunate I even have to write this type of review in 2018 because I seriously thought people had more class than this. I used to frequent Blue Olive Lounge as my place to watch the game, have a $2 Yuengling or just hang out with friends. They would always be surprised there was an actual good place to hear hip hop music, dance and enjoy hookah in Ballantyne. Kelly would typically wait on me and she's always great and attentive. I even came here on my most recent birthday. Saturday I decided to come out to show some friends in town this hidden gem. Unfortunately, I was stopped at the door, and was told verbatim. "You can't wear that turban in here" Now I wouldn't have had a problem is 1) I never wore my turban in there numerous times before and 2) If they weren't allowing ANY headwear in which they did allow hats. When I told the security guy, Big Luke, but you're allowing hats. He proceeds to tell me "they don't want turbans in here" I told him that wasn't true since I've attended wearing it numerous times and I'm sure a hookah bar wouldn't discriminate against turbans but allow other headwear. If you're terrified of a turban then just say so, but don't make up something because you're uncomfortable
