  • In my opinion you should avoid this firm if you want a will made. They advertise a $99 will which includes a consultation with one of the firms attorneys. I had that consultation and had as one of my requests that I be cremated and my ashes scattered. When I went to review the draft before signing I saw that they had included a provision that the administrator of my estate could pay for a stone memorial at my burial site. Then later on it stated that I was to be cremated. No mention of scattering but then a clause which said that my wishes could be attached to the will. Ok then.......talked to one of their paralegals about the problem. He stated that I could not include scattering of my ashes because the EPA said it was illegal. I told him that he was probably wrong because you could go online and even the US Park service was issuing permits for scattering of ashes in national parks. Well......he then compared an inclusion to scatter my ashes comparable to including a clause in the will directing someone to kill my sister !!! Say what ????? Scattering ashes is comparable to killing your sister? Anyway didnt proceed with the will since they were claiming something I felt was probably incorrect, paid the $99 for the work involved, note they did not deduct anything for no witnesses or keeping of the will, and was given a receipt. The receipt was one of those hand written little jobs you can purchase in any drug store and didnt even include the firms name. Then I was informed they would not give me back the original documents or anything I had just initialed because they were now the law firms property. The paralegal even stated that he had called Jason Cassady and was told not to give them to me. In my opinion that is a bunch of crock. Anyway.....I feel that I got really poor service because this could have been explained before I left all sorts of personal information at the law office, in this day and age of computers giving out a cheesy drug store receipt for payment seems to be pretty unprofessional, and jup...when I got home checked the US Park website and it clearly states you can apply for a permit for the scattering of human ashes. But what do I know ??? I could be totally wrong. I just wish I had gone to someone else.
