Two movies for $9 is a pretty good price.
More than that - sitting in lawn chairs, or snuggling in the blankets in the back of the van for the kids is just awesome. Little worry about rambunctious little ones running amok. Also the little ones will probably conk out before the second feature - and can sleep in the car giving mommy and daddy a chance to see a big people movie.
Food prices are no worse than most other movie places. And way less than someplace like the alamo drafthouse where you'll drop $30 for a burger and beer.
you can bring your own bug spray.
The picture and sound a pretty good with the new digital equipment. road noise is not so bad, but train horns can be bothersome. at least some of the pilots kept it down to a short half-honk.
I saw my first movie here in the back of my parents' station wagon with my brothers and sisters way back in ancient times (the second feature was Fantastic Voyage which puts that back in 1966 or 67). We brought our kid and nieces. I hope some day they can bring their kids.
Drive-ins are a disappearing breed. Treasure this one while you can.
