| - This location is convenient to downtown Phoenix, university downtown campuses, a bus stop, & I-10 access. It is also located near a Walgreen's and McDonald's. Because of the location, however, many homeless are present in the store and in the parking lot. With that said, the prices can be a bit high for some items, but I imagine the rent is out of control.
PROS: With that said, I'm impressed with the frozen produce and meats, butcher (bacon!), non-dairy "milk" selection, bakery, customer service counter, and booze sections. The fresh produce section is hit or miss, and sometimes they have GREAT sales. Whenever meat/fish/poultry is 50% off, I buy it up and freeze it at home in air-tight zip locs.
CONS: The only real complaint I have is that during "rush" times, they do not open up any more cashier lanes...so you can wait in line for up to 20 minutes. It's maddening. This occurs daily immediately following the 5pm rush and on Fri, Sat, & Sun nights just before they close. Aw-ful!
