  • How grateful I am to have Spaks just up the street from me. Their vegan offering is HUGE and SO delicious, which is what continues to draw me in. Their pizzas are classic and just what you'd expect, with tons of vegan fixins including daiya cheese, soy 'meats', and endless toppings. By far they make the most delicious seitan hoagie in the city limits. The seitan is made in-house, and on the hoagies sliced very thin, piled on top of fresh toasted bread with grilled peppers, onions, etc. The Seitan "Steak" is the best with fresh lettuce, tomato, and vegenaise, just oozing with flavor. Their offering is quite large, everything from specialty pizza, custom pizza, salads, calzones, breadsticks, fries, seitan wings, regular wings, etc. The BBQ & honey mustard seitan wings are the vegan options, and they also make a vegan buffalo sauce & vegan ranch (talk about fresh dill!) which is soooo bomb. Everything that's vegan is clearly marked. Just be sure to specify when ordering vegan! I accidentally got a pizza with all the vegan "meats" and regular cheese--that was my bad. They draw quite a crowd so be prepared to wait for your order...but trust me, it's worth it!
