  • I went to Joey's for an early worknight dinner (5:30pm, 6 people) and we were greeted with complimentary mini bellinis. Very nice! Our server was friendly, although her conversation topics were a bit odd. The group was slow ordering, and she was quite patient with us even though the place was filling up. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese sandwich with mushroom soup ($16). The sandwich was very tasty, albeit greasy. Best to eat while it's hot! The soup was also pretty good. Real mushrooms floated with a dollop of creme fraiche, not too salty. It's a large open space with lots of suspended flat screens. The music is blasted and it's very noisy. There appears to be many suits who go there for after-work drinks and dinner. All in all, Joey's is one of the better chain restaurants in the Yonge-Dundas area.
