  • My friend told me this was best Mexican food around. I wasn't hesitant at first because I always believed the best Mexican food in Arizona was in Tucson, but she may be right. La Santísima is fantastic. I had the Azteca Tinga burro, and I don't remember the last time I had chicken that was so juicy. I think their secret is in their sauces/marinades. The burrito was huge but I ate it all up because it was so good and I could not stop. I also love the salsa bar - they have a large variety of salsas and it's fun to try all of them. My favourite is the strawberry one. The only downside was that service was slow. I think we waited 15 minutes just for someone to greet us and take our orders. I heard that the restaurant increased capacity so I hope they will increase staff too in order to meet the increased needs.
