I am gonna go with 4 stars, it isn't all Red Rock, some are Iron free hence their slate color. What kind of false advertising is this?
Silliness aside, this is a great place I will be back to visit again.
You could run the loop as you train for a marathon and enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery around. It is quite a reprieve from the neon lighting and bustle of the strip. There are many places to park, tons of trails to take whether you want to get up close to red rocks for 15 minutes, 15 hours or get real up close and climb them. You have to call ahead for a climbing permit and that is extra on top of the $5 for getting into the park but it is all worth it.
