rev:text	STAY AWAY. we have been living here for a little over two months, and i cant wait for my lease to end so i can escape. first of all, management is rude. whenever i have issues, which we had a lot of on move in day, i am not offered any type of solution, but instead i am greeted with attitude. in fact, the manager even told me "its an apartment, nothing is going to be perfect." i get that, but im also paying $1000 a month. i expect to have a working fridge and air conditioning. i had a fridge full of spoiled food and ended up with food poisoning. we have to keep our air off except at night, as its sucking power. if we dont turn it off our bill is $200 or more. in an apartment, that is ridiculous. even for summer months. i dont like people in my apartment when i am not home, and management has not been very accommodating. they pretty much told me to take time off work or figure it out myself. not to mention the management seems to have changed and we didnt even get a courtesy letter. my upstairs neighbors are incredibly loud and they have a large dog that is well over the 40 pound limit, and im pretty sure they are running a daycare. ive complained to the office about 5 times and nothing has ever been done. so we get to listen to stomping and yelling sometimes as late as 3am. when we toured the complex, we werent shown our actual apartment, which should have been a red flag. what they did show us was a well done model. our apartment looks nothing like it. we were promised new countertops, only to find they havent changed them in 5 years. they are literally falling apart. the wall has about 40 coats of paint on it, and is terribly done. there are drips that were allowed to dry and it looks really messy. my sliding glass door to the patio was literally falling off the wall, and for 3 weeks my front door was so messed up you could push it open with the deadbolt locked. my closet door literally fell off onto me, and my boyfriend had to pick it up and put it back on the wall. it rained the other day, and our entire complex flooded. im talking several inches of water, cars having to be moved so they werent water logged. the list of issues i have had with this place goes on, and i wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy. save your money. you can get a better place for what we are spending here.
