Rio is my hotel I have been coming to for years. They always give me a free room for up to 5 consecutive days. Rooms are little dated and plumbing kind of sucks but still all rooms I have been in are comfortable suites. This time was no different except they hooked me up with a room directly near the elevators which was great. The room was larger then the rooms I normally get and have a sort of mini kitchen which was surprising. The room had a coffee maker with two packets of coffee. Large king bed was super comfortable and I slept well. Shower had instant hot water which was nice. I opted out of room cleaning for a $20 food credit and the housekeeper hooked me up with extra toilet paper and soap for my room and was really friendly. They have good restaurants to choose from and I personally like the buffet, all American bar and grill and the Guy Fieri's El Burracho. The hotel is located near Chinatown and is away enough from the strip to get around with little traffic. Casino is fun to play at, and lots of bars around the casino, and lots drunk people having a good time especially on the weekends. Always good music as well on the casino floor. Casino hosts are very friendly and very liberal with the comps. I love staying at Rio when I'm in Vegas.
