| - The rooms and lobby have been recently renovated, but as Nicholas A. points out the bathrooms still look a bit old. Still, the new touches are really nice and well-designed. Combined with the prime location to many restaurants, it's a good hotel for this location and price.
I stayed a night while traveling through Ohio for business. My room had a king-sized bed and a nice couch, with modern wall decorations and paintings. Probably the best thing about the room was the ample charging plugs everywhere. USB-plugs and regular plugs, on both sides of the bed and at the desk and behind the couch, this hotel understands the modern traveler who has several devices that need charging at one time. At $84/night (not including taxes/fees), I've definitely stayed in worse hotels and spent more.
The location is also perfect for a business traveler. 10 mins from the airport and 1 min from all of the terrible fast food I treat myself to when I travel, I can't remember the last time everything was this easy. My secret treat is Five Guys, and it's so close by I can't help but go. There is also a breakfast place in the lobby (with Starbucks coffee! Gotta earn those stars!), and it seems reasonable as well.
Overall, I'm a fan. They could improve their gym offering (it's tiny!), and there was a gaggle of noisy pre-teens in the pool and in the halls when I stayed here (April 2015), but this is all pretty nitpicky. I came for the location, but was won over by the USB chargers. Get on it, every other hotel ever!
