| - It seems every Korean restaurant I go to in Las Vegas, improves on the previous one. Soyo is no exception.
Firstly, the atmosphere is really nice. Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling, cool blackboards, really nice dinnerware, cool booths that are hidden into the wall, and lots of Hangul (Korean) writing everywhere. They even have a neat little feature, where they have lots of Korean manga and books on shelves.
Okay, now to the food. I've really only tried one entree, the Dolsot Bibimbap. But it is excelltn. The toppings are all there, the fried egg is great, and I love the sauce they have. Very par for the course for the Bibimbaps that I've had. Yet, the price is great on this one. It's only $10 as of this review and it's perfect. Even if they raised the price, I wouldn't mind.
Next, the side dishes. These are my favorite part of Korean restaurants. I was well happy with these. They give you 5, and all range from spicy, to savory, to refreshing. They also ask you if youy want refills a lot, so that is always a plus!
Lastly, one of my favorite things is that they give you a free bottle of tea as you walk in. It's barley tea, but that is my favorite so it could not be better! Also, not sure if it was just that day or for lunch or whatever, but on my visit for lunch they gave me a free bowl of this Korean egg drop soup, with tofu, that the chef specially made
So we get:
-1 bottle of barley tea
-5 side dishes with free refills
-Large Dolsot Bibimbap
-Bowl of soup
All for under $11. I love this place. !
