  • Let me first say that I did get escorted out of this YMCA my first week there for wearing a thong leotard to work out in. I'm told it's not allowed in a family facility. How was I to know. Did they really have to have the police escort me out? I thought that was a little much. Just kidding! I really am in love with this place. The cost is very reasonable $60 for myself and 3 kids per month for all the fitness you can handle. I love the spinning classes, the hours are great (6:30 am - 10:00 pm), the place is very clean and the machines are the latest in fitness equipment. The staff is super helpful, they have two heated pools outside open year round. Many classes are included in your membership. They have a cool rock wall, lots of fun fee based classes like ballet, tap, and gymnastics for kids, stuff like zumba and social dance classes for adults. I signed up a few weeks ago and am already down about 7 pounds and my ass no longer scares little children. Come check it out. You'll probably see me there. I'll be the one in the thong.
