 | - I recently went to Reilly's for their hayride and pumpkin patch! It was $7 to go on the hayride, pick a pumpkin and choose 4 activities to do per person. Such activities were scarecrow making ($10: counted for 3 out of 4 of your activity choices), milking a wooden cow, slide, gift bags, face painting, corn maze, marshmallow roasting, boo barn, pony rides and petting zoo. The staff didn't hole punch every activity we did, and we got the face painting and cow milking for free. The hay ride wasn't picturesque and seemed dangerous at some points with narrow, bumpy paths and an open wagon facing a steep hill side. The pumpkin patch was located on a lot of land with only three areas to pick pumpkins from. There were a lot of people when we went and the pumpkins were picked over, which didn't make for the best pumpkin picking experience. The wagon drops you off at one part of the patch and picks you up at a different area that is located further from the drop off location. Once you have your pumpkin and are picked up, the wagon takes you to a different area where you pay. You then have to heft your pumpkins down two hills and across the parking lot until you get to your car. The layout of this place is scattered and doesn't cater to the customer. There are many activities for children to do and is definitely geared towards a younger crowd because of this. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Reilly's, but it wasn't my favorite fall trip to the pumpkin patch and was too crowded for me.
