Always wanted to try their restaurant, and glad I did. We made reservations for a Saturday afternoon at 11:30, at the time the place wasn't busy, but filled up very fast.
Looking at the chalk board menu made it a little difficult to make a selection. There is definitely a fine dining feel to their offerings, which may intimidate some people.
I went with salad that combined poached eggs, bacon, on a bed of micro greens. My friend ordered the parsnip salad with poached pears. We shared a bread board with whipped butter.
Service was fast and very friendly. There was no debating the freshness and flavours of our meals. The thick cut smoked bacon in my salad was beyond words, and my eggs were poached perfectly. Everything about our meals was delicious. The chefs know what they are doing. This is a place you bring someone to impress.
I love this place and I will return.
