| - I visited Scarpetta Saturday, June 4th at about 8pm to 10pm. When you first look at the entrance to Scarpetta all it looks like is a long narrow hallway from a distance, but it is so much more. The restaurant opens up to an "L" and overlooks the Bellagio fountains. It really is a breathtaking spot and the atmosphere is to die for. Besides visiting the pools view of the strip, this restaurant has to have the best view of the fountains. When i arrived at the restaurant it was very busy so we sat at the bar. The bar is a great room of lights, atmosphere, and helpful people. While staying there we had many custom cocktails (Scarpetta creations) that the bartenders made that were delicious. We also enjoyed the bread, which they said came for D.O.C.G., which was fabulous. The bread was homemade and there were several different types, all of them great flavors. We ate their spaghetti and their ravioli, both were excelt. The cost of the meal and drinks was around $100. It was a little more than i usually spend, but when you buys drinks it can become alot more. I thought for the spot it was at, the food quality, and the atmosphere the price was right on. I would highly recommend this place, and if you already had a meal and just relax there with some of their drinks.
