I was really nervous to do yoga in general. It was so out of my comfort zone because I'm just a big, out of shape, guy who had never done anything like it. My wife had gone to a few other yoga studios but never really found a place that felt right. The other places were either too "cool" or too competitive. We read reviews on yelp and she convinced me to try out Hot Yoga U. We signed up for Hot Hatha Flow and read through the website (which is really informative about their policies, courtesies, and what to expect). When we arrived, the staff was really nice and Diana (our instructor) even sat down with us to meet and encourage us! The class was so wonderful and I never felt out of place. Diana was really helpful as I learned the poses and even though it was hard, I really enjoyed it! We have been going every week and love it more and more each time we go! The Hatha 27 classes are full of diverse skill levels and it rarely feels "too crammed", so that is a plus! We also started attending the Friday night non-heated Yin class, and we love it! It's an awesome compliment to the more intense heated Hatha classes and the instructors are always so sweet and calming! If you are looking for a studio to call home, this is definitely it! You won't regret it!
