  • They misdiagnosed my dog and charged me over $2000 for what was nothing more than a cough and cold. I took my dog here because he was coughing a lot and my regular vet was closed. We couldn't sleep with him coughing and we were worried so we took him in. Dr. Owens came in and told us he has MegaEsophagus and said that it will essentially lead to his young death. He ordered a lot of tests and told us he is almost certain our dog has MegaEsophagus. The next morning we went to our regular vet who did an excellent job and said that our dog absolutely does not have MegaEsophagus and he most likely has something similar to kennel cough even though he was vaccinated. Our dog was fine in 2 Days. Furthermore, a couple weeks later, Dr. Owens called to tell us that a very important test result came back positive which means our dog has MegaEsophagus. I didn't believe him so I had him read me the results verbatim which said clearly that the test was negative. After providing Dr. Owens a lecture on how to read test results (isn't that what vet school is for?) I told him my dog is now 100% fine. It has been months and my dog is still healthy and happy. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
