What a neat spot! Nestled in a very suburban neighborhood, it sneaks up on you as it's tucked back from the street. Love the outdoor area of the restaurant with the grassy area- lots of kiddos were running around enjoying themselves. The awnings hanging are the perfect touch. The restaurant itself features a patio area with umbrellas covering shade. In quintessential PHX fashion it was too hot to sit outside today so we headed in. Although late for our resi the server was very accommodating and seated us in a room off the bar in a "living room" styled area with a large fireplace and hanging candelabra. The dark green walls and leather booths give it a homey effect- it works.
I really liked the menu & although I'm on a super annoying cleanse & was unable to try Everything, they were really accommodating to my dietary needs and gave me my order exactly as requested.
Our server was attentive & stopped in enough for beverage refills. It was a business meeting so her attentiveness was not excessive or insufficient- Goldilocks rule applies: just right.
Our booth was a bit on the small size. I'd say it was doable for two women, one petite but would be cramped to be both carving at a steak next to one another. They're more of a 2 party booth set up.
My salad was fantastic and as stated, made to my request. The chopped salad looked delicious as did the garlic focaccia bread, which is a massive serving I might add. Great spot that I hope to return too! And also a small but very well appointed bar within.
