  • Some big critical city pump made a really loud noise throughout the night. I called at 2 AM, and they asked if I wanted the problem looked at tonight or in the morning. The city treats taxpayers as if they are the boss. How cool! I told them they can address the complaint in the morning. Early AM, they had crews that completely fixed the noise within a couple hours. I also got a call saying thank you for calling in while repairs were beimg done. What a cool and efficient city! I've lived cities where issues couldn't be fixed in years. Residents addressed issues themselves by doing things like putting plants in potholes. Not in Scottsdale!
