  • Unfortunately we had a bad experience at this shop, Mex Muffler on Stoughton Rd. We felt that this shop was very dishonest. We brought our car in, and we told them we were hearing a noise coming from the front of the car, to me it sounded like our brakes and maybe the belt. They took a look and told me we needed a new battery, and a flex pipe. Trusting them I told them to replace whatever it was I needed! Needless to say, I left the shop with my car making the exact same noises I started with. So I drove back, and he drove my car around the block again....came back and said that we needed our brakes and routers replaced. Really?!?! You let us leave thinking our car is fixed, but really our brakes need to be replaced, what kind of mechanic does not notice a brake noise the first time? This was very off putting to me, so I feel we put a bunch of money into things we didn't need. We will be on the look out for an honest mechanic!!!
