| - Had another great stay here even though it started off on a bad note.
I tried to book online and no suites available so I called and was told same thing. I waited til the next day and called back to speak with the manager I worked with last time and low and behold the exact same room was available. I explained to him I wanted the same room and did not care to be switched as I was in town on business and needed a nice meeting space.
Upon check in I receive the news the air conditioner is not working and I've been moved to an "identical" suite one floor down. The suite was nice, but not identical. Only one bath instead of one and a half, no huge jaquzzi tub, a kitchenette as compared to full kitchen area, and no large dining table. I am not meeting with a client in my suite who has to trapse through the bedroom to use the restroom.
So I called the front desk who promptly sent the manager up who explained to me the air was not broken it just doenst go below 70.. LOL, I'm from Florida, 70 is cold to me! Perfect, so I move upstairs and all is good. Except the maids bringing requested items (tea, sugar, slippers) to the old room making me run down and sneak them up to the new room.
After that , it was perfect. The room was great, Very quiet and away from the noisy atrium where all the weddings are. My client meeting went well and I had a friend join me for the rest of the stay, He was super impressed by the room and could not believe the size of it!
I always stay here in Cleveland as it's right across from E 4th st and I can walk everywhere. Good job Hyatt!
