The amenities are TOP NOTCH!!! Then when viewing the actual apartments--BIG TIME DISAPPOINTMENT !!! I was even willing to overlook the clown party colors on the exterior of the building. This place is WAY overpriced for the poor construction quality and cheap interiors, except maybe the appliances.
I was more than willing to pay a pretty penny for a smaller place, but I was so underwhelmed that I basically felt as if my intelligence were insulted.
$375 "administrative" fee to hold/reserve apartment. Guess what??? That basically puts your name in place for your unit. It does NOT get refunded upon move-in, which is really ridiculous. Would someone like to explain how such a small task is worth $375? They claim to waive a security deposit, so if the $375 is really a security deposit then just call it what it is. Pretty dishonest move.
If you do choose to live here and have a view, unless you will be on 11th floor in final building, your view will be gone upon construction completion. If you face north you are also looking at a Motel 6.
The square footage is also misleading! There is NO way these places are as large as stated. Beware---- they are not listing "livable" space, so you will be very disappointed, especially considering the asking rates.
Don't waste your time. The studio and one "bedroom" with their half walls feel more like a college dorm. Some units share a frosted glass window with the adjoining apartment. Talk about foolish design and no sense of privacy.
Our appointment was setup for a Saturday, then we rescheduled earlier in week for the previous Friday, which was just one day before our original appointment. Someone screwed up and our appointment was never changed so we had to "double up" with another couple. Poor attention to detail.
