  • My old landlord gave me 15 day notice that he was selling the house I was renting so I needed to be out by the end of the month. What?!? I was not even prepared to move. I looked fortwo months and applied with several other management companies and spent a lot of money just applying. The shadiness of some companies just trying to get that application money from you just blew my mind. Plus the rental market in Phx is booming and these houses would get rented the same day listed or the next day. Then I came across Service Star Realty. What really like them at first was the fact I could schedule a walk through of the houses without having to make an appointment with anyone. I could do a self viewing, which I loved!! I also loved the fact on their website and even on the listing pages, they clearly disclose and spell out exactly what rental criteria is needed in order to qualify. They provide every bit of information you would need, if you actually take the time to read it. So i went and saw several homes and found one I loved. I applied and paid my application fee. The following day I received an email stating someone else who applied before me got the house plus my application was still being processed. But unlike most other companies they also told me since I had paid the fee already that I could apply it to another house I may find within 30 days and not have to pay the application fee again. I decided to call to get more info on when they list new homes and left a message and was called back within an hour by Lisa. She was great!! She helped me look for another house I may like and was there to answer any and all questions I had. Then I found one I loved. Lisa then had to pass me over to Shanta since this was one of her properties she is in charge of. Lisa informed Shanta of all our conversations and got her up to speed so I didn't have to repeat anything and it was a smooth transition over. Shanta was so polite and friendly that I would forget she was the property manager and not a friend. But while being friendly she still maintained the proper amount of professionalism one would expect. She was punctual and very attentive to anything I needed. After my application was moved over to this house and I was approved, she went over every bit of infomration I would need regarding my new rental. This is a.terrific company that makes everything so simple and efficient for a renter. Plus the staff actually cares about not only their clients(the prop owners) but also the tenants.They made sure my house was perfect before moving in. After the wind storm we had the other day it knocked over my fence and once I submitted a work order they were out here and fixed it the very next day. I was very impressed. This was one of the best rental experiences I have had. Usually I am worried about something being hidden from me and then springing up out of the blue causing problems. Not here though! They are so up front and disclose everything to you in a clear and concise manner because they tell you they want to make sure we understand everything and know what we are getting into and what to expect. And everything they said would happen actually happened. The staff here is so professional and just is over flowing with integrity. I really appreciate them, specifically Shanta and Lisa, for taking the time and making such an effort to help me find a home. And I love it too! And I have some more to say about these other fake reviews on here. Ill continue it on the next review as I am running out of space on this one. But those fake reviews and those people lying really need to concentrate more on their own lives. Especially if things are supposedly like how they claim they are.
