  • We got a 4th of July special coupon in the mail. It was a scratch to reveal 40, 50, or 75% ADDITIONAL discount off red dot discounted items. We drove there in this 110 degree heat. Shopped for 30 minutes and picked out several items. They were rung up at the counter then the coupon was scratched to reveal ADDITIONAL 40% discount. The casher then said the red dot items were already discounted by 40% so we could not get the additional discount. "We do not stack discounts" said the manager. This July 4th sale was a scam, plain and simple. The coupon was not worth the paper it was printed on. Looks like Steinmart has a new marketing strategy to fool customers into coming into the store. BAIT AND SWITCH.
