Heartwood Coffee Roasters is a lovely spot, nestled in a wooded corner. The inside isn't very large, and when I stopped by in the morning every single table was taken up by someone hard at work - so it seems like a really productive place to work if you can find an open table! The inside was cozy and well-designed and somewhere I wouldn't mind spending a few hours working.
Luckily for me and my friend, there are a few open tables on the patio to bask in some springtime Ohio sunshine. I felt that the drinks were reasonably priced for the level of care and effort put into them and I seriously considered buying the mug that my chai tea latte came in. Didn't look at the price of the mug, but the chai tea latte was 4.50 and deliciously well balanced. They don't have much in the way of food but I was tempted to try their avocado toast. The atmosphere feels homely (in the cozy, nestled by trees and repurposed building sort of way) but stylish and could exist in a coffee shop in the middle of a city.
I loved my experience here and it's a wonderful place to catch up with an old friend or get some work done. I can't wait to go back!
