stopped here on the way home from vegas and did the big tour that they offer for $30. it was really cool learning about everything that went on at the damn, and then just taking in the views from the damn, the lookouts, and the new bridge that overlooks the dam. the tour was pretty cool, but i wish there were more stops in it at $30 a person, but what we did get to see what pretty cool as we saw the turbines for the generators, air tunnels for the inside of the dam, how the measure how much movement there has been on the dam and all that jazz. the other thing i didn't really care for other than that i didn't feel there were enough stops was our guides voice was really annoying. after about 5 minutes i started zoning out to what she was saying because i could not stand her voice. but overall, it was pretty cool. not sure i would go back because it seems to be one of those you only need to see it once things, but if i do ill make sure to go with my dad as he used to work there every now and then so he has a decent amount of knowledge and we won't need a tour guide
