Lol....okay, we went from one extreme to the other re timing.
I made a reservation for our anniversary and we got a great little table tucked in the corner downstairs. We were looking forward to a romantic and relaxing experience.
The food was outstanding. I had the filet and crab and my husband had the salmon special. Both salads we started with, as well as the creme brule we finished with very good.
The service was crazy in their timing. We had just barely ordered when both salads arrived....which was fine, except that then the gentleman helping our server kept trying to pick up our plates while we were still eating.....we had them about 10 minutes before we had to give them up because our entrees had suddenly arrived. We hadn't even had a chance to touch our pre-entree drinks yet so we just pushed them aside. It was our anniversary, it was 7:30 and the place was empty. What's the rush?
The bar tending staff was great and we did stay later because of him.
I'd say a 4+ for food, a 5 for ambience and I don't know what to say about service, very personable and knowledgeable on the floor, but the timing with the kitchen is about the most bizarre thing I've seen is this caliber of restaurant....it's dragging down the results.
