  • Ps long review but so worth it! Best decision I made and wished I did it long time ago! But the timing in life was perfect because getting my permanent makeup eyeliner today meant Mr Jamison Glenn did it. When I came in I was nervous. Getting a "tattoo" has always been on my bucket list but I never considered makeup tattooing until a couple of months ago. I saw as I gracefully grew beautifully older (I'm only 38) my eyelashes were thinning out. Without eyeliner parts of my lashes looked slightly empty. And so went the must daily task of drawling a thin line to just make my lashes look fuller vs having a full makeup look. When I arrived I was professionally greeted. Jamison is the only electrolysis and permanent makeup artist at his location. But there is a wonderful nail tech/esthetician who operates there as well. Soon the staff will grow so be prepared Vegas: superstars gathering point! Don't let the new look of this fabulous place fool you. The establishment was recently re-located so the "decor" of the place is still coming in. It's Completely sterile, white, and clean. Not spa like foo-foo atmosphere yet, but like I said the decor is on order . Don't let that stop you, once you see how fabulous your makeup, nails, or smooth hair less skin is you will be running back for more! The outside atmosphere of their new establishment is gorgeous with lush green bushes and an inviting walk way. The friendly faces are still there and The expertise and 150% quality (steady) hands has you coming back for more! Mr Glenn schedules with integrity. No rushing. And no double booking. He schedules to make sure what ever your permanent makeup desire is, that's what you get. Perfection! His steady hand from years of electrolysis has passed down to and even more steady hands with his permanent makeup artistry. With that being Said I had NO fear when it came to him working so close to my eyes balls with permanent eyeliner. For the people who never had it done, like me, it didn't hurt. Yeah there is a few spots here and there that had a pinch of pain, but once I made a made it known he would stop. It felt like a ball point writing pen vibrating very fast. The sound was like hair clippers. He holds your eye lid very taunt while coloring. And I noticed the taunter the less you feel. He pre numbs the area being color. Whew! Cause when I told my boyfriend how painless it felt he mention to me permanent makeup is different than tattoos. (As my boyfriend has many tattoos) my boyfriend mention to me that the tattoos on the body , the needle is more "needle" like and there is no numbing cream. (That small bit is his words not mine) Not to say no tattoo artist uses numbing cream, but I'm sure glad my permanent makeup artist did!So with that being said I'm glad my bucket list of "a tattoo" was in the makeup department vs say my arm or back hahahaha! Oh and one more thing (with this long review but so well worth it, because hey this will last for years! You might as well feel absolutely comfortable with who does your permanent makeup!) you WIll need 4 to 5 days, for at least your eyeliner, to feel comfortable....when I say comfortable I Mean With public people. Meaning I didn't hurt while healing, but I religiously put the healing gel (which Mr Glenn gives you the gel) over my eyeliner and I bought and used a high end brand of eye drops in my eyes (systane ultra about $12.00) during the first 4 days and will continue til my eyeliner fully heals. Sunglasses. Yes one word: sunglasses. Yes ladies and gents invest in sunglasses because hahahah with the gel and eye drops...well let's say You will need the glasses or look like a hangover lady/ man hahahaha. The gel would get into my eyes making them blurry. I mention this because I KNOW someone out there will think this " oh I can do this Friday and just wear glasses the next day for my lunch date with friends." Nope been there, thought I was going to do that, and ended up canceling my social date to lay in bed and gel myself up lol. No pain and I can see just fine (if I didn't put the gel on), but I made sure my eyeliner was very well moisten with gel to prevent scabbing. And you will look swollen like you've cried for weeks. The gel, eye drops, and ice packs is a must! Its perfectionism in me to allow perfect healing. Ps I normally bruise like peach and after Mr Glenn artistry no eye brushing at all! Later in the week I will post pictures of before and afters, day number 4 and I can still say AWESOME JOB!!!!! No If, Ands, or Buts....you must go see Mr Jamison Glenn for your permanent makeup !
