| - I was compelled by other Yelp reviewers to check this place out, and now my only regret is not having tried it sooner! They have two menus, A "Grab-n-Go" menu and a "Bistro" menu. The G-n-G menu is smaller, less expensive, and has more traditional American dishes (although not limited to by ANY means) whereas the Bistro menu looks more like traditional Swedish cuisine. Ordering from the G-n-G menu, I tried the Swedish Cured Salmon Sandwich and an order of poutine. Both were incredible, the sandwich was a very generous portion with plenty of fish on it, yet it did not taste too fishy and was perfectly balanced! The family that owns the place each contributed to the ordering, preparation, and payment for the food which I found amusing, and they were so nice! They have a newspaper cutout from Arizona Central's review of their place (a glowing review, by the way) where the reviewer states that they could give friendliness lessons to Golden Retriever puppies, and I have to agree! You can even watch the food being made through the open door/window and it is very obviously homemade from scratch. Friendly service, delicious food, and ridiculously modest prices. Do yourself a favor and try this gem for yourself! You can even bring your own beer (2 bottles max) or wine (1 bottle max)!!!
