Such a colorful and creative place...glad we found it. After an obligatory grocery refill in Homestead, the other half announced "I could go for a latte right now." Well, there is nothing interesting at the waterfront, but the Yelp map suggested Biddle's. We wound through Rankin to get there, the color exploding in the suddenly upscale neighborhood. I lived in Wilkinsburg and where I lived looks nothing like this.
Thanks to Yelp we tried the Curry Latte. It was lovely. It indeed tastes like curry. The warm spices blend with the warmth, coffee, and hint of sweetness. We shared it and enjoyed the deck.
Their menu is indeed complicated and dizzying. I will have to study it further in advance of a return trip. They are advertising food trucks on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer.
Late afternoon on a weekday there were plenty of seats everywhere and it was quiet.
We tidied up a Free Book Shelf across the street on our way out.
