The Big League Dreams Complex in Gilbert is a higher quality venue for youth baseball in Phoenix Area in my opinion. The fields are well cared for the replica stadiums are unique and memorable and I really feel like the complex is tailored to the enjoyment and viewing for fans. Seating is shaded and very close to the fields. The inside facilities are well equipped with anything you would need for a full day or multiple day event.
Two things I do not like are First, the infields are dirt and make the overall look of the fields less attractive. Dirt fields make the game faster and better for the developing youth that play here but overall I would choose grass if cost was nominal.
Second, serving alcohol on site is a huge negative for me. Fans/Family are more belligerent and bad mannered than normal and makes the environment less kid and family friendly. Im sure this is a huge $ maker but it is a youth facility and money could be generated elsewhere.
Overall 4 Stars! :) I enjoyed umpiring games there.
