  • I had a wonderful 2-week stay at this remarkable hotel, with stunning river views, and close to all the downtown activities of Madison (and there are many). After work each day I came home to the Riverboat, and it felt just like that: home. Staff, guests, owner--all friendly, fun and welcoming. I became part of the famiy. The accommodations were just right -- not fancy, but not sterile like the chains. I'd recommend this place whether you are in Madison for work, or a jumping-off vacation place to explore the historic downtown and nearby bourbon country.
