| - BEWARE, this is the WORST utility company I have ever had in the country. On Saturday afternoon my company (a dog and cat hotel) was threatened by APS that if I did not pay my bill in 30 minutes my electricity would be shut off. Since it was Saturday afternoon I had no access to my accountant or books and I knew how much trouble it would be to try and turn it back on given none of these people work on the weekend, well except for the collectors. Really, they could not wait until Monday to sort this out???????? First I thought this was actually a scam but it frightened my staff and obviously we could not be without electricity especially during the nighttime for the animals. After speaking to the floor supervisor and being threatened so many times I went to Fry' to get a cash voucher, since you cannot pay by credit card, they called me back relentlessly to make the payment. I have been in the customer service business for 40 years and have never experienced anything as bead as this, and yes my company serviced more than 2,000,000 customers per. Obviously they know they can treat people anyway they want, THEY HAVE A COMPLETE MONOPOLY on the electric utility and there are no other options (unless you live off the grid). The "WE DON'T CARE, WE DON"T HAVE TO" was written by APS and I will be doing everything I can for my city to rid us of this horrible company and have another electric company take their place. This is what monopolies can do and we pay the price. Hope all of you never have to deal with these awful people, they are your worst nightmare and could care less about you or your business. I am reaching out to the media to try and make this as public as possible so everyone will know what to do if they ever hold a gun to your head like they did with me. More to follow.
