Went to Bruxie for the first time last week and I'm so glad that we decided to come back for it! Initially, we went on a Thursday morning around 10:45am. The line was out the door and we were starving so we ended up settling for Shake Shack next door. Saturday morning we wanted to try again but this time we were smart and went right before it opened. They open at 9, but they started letting people in about 10-15 minutes early!! We almost had to wait in a long line again because we didn't realize they opened early!
Ambience (5/5) - I really like the sort of hipster feel to the place. They have really large windows that lets in sunlight and really brightens up the place. It's a very clean environment and I love that.
Holy chicken! (5/5) - If you're a person that likes the sweet and salty combination, I would definitely recommend this! I am very picky about chicken because a lot of places make chicken extremely dry but Bruxie's chicken is definitely not dry. It was a juicy and savory piece of chicken that was maple glazed and TASTED SO WELL TOGETHER!
Fried chicken w/ bacon cheddar waffle and maple butter (5/5) - I'm not sure if we got the original seasoned or the kickin chicken but whatever we got was amazing. Then again I am really biased because I love pairing little big of sweetness and savory.
Bruxie Burger (3/5) - Don't get it. If you're really craving a burger then go get a burger next door at shake shack or any other places that actually makes burgers. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad! It's just that Bruxie is known for their chicken.. SO GET THE CHICKEN.. promise you won't regret getting the chicken.
