  • Like used car shopping? This is what it feels like to deal with this company. It was like haggling down the price to get anywhere near "reasonable" price. Had them out to our house and a simple Spring replace job quote went from $775 (with coupon!), then $599, and finally when I was ready to walk away, $350+tax. I was handed the phone by the serviceman to talk with his "manager" who is sitting in a call center in Dallas, Texas to "get the price down". They will try to take you for as much money as they can get! This company operates under different addresses, phones, and websites to make them seem local - beware of the name "Elite" and "Neighborhood Garage Door Service". Upon further research I found lots of dirty info on BBB. I feel bad for the local techs contracted out who have to extort customers with this dirty business' pricing schemes. Don't believe me? Do the research for yourself. Check BBB or google "WBTV GDS scam". Call a local-based company that works for a fair honest price, one that is comparable to other companies. Luckily I had neighbors with same garage issue so I could compare for what pricing should be. Today I Had the same job done by a local company for $235.
