  • I know, I know. Who goes to a place named Great Links Brewhouse and orders a Burger and ice water. Well... that was me today. Hey, they do have a sticker on the entrance and throughout the place that they competed on Burger Wars sponsored by Fox 5 so they must have decent Burgers. I went with the Pastrami burger which was slightly over cooked with grilled onions, spicy mustard and melted provo with pastrami piled on top of a 1/3 LB meat patty. Good combo, I do like a little heavier mustard on mine which I added. Besides the burger having a char to it this definitely satisfied my burger craving I had today. To accompany my burger I went with the Italian Fries topped with Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese. These were tasty fries. The parmesan began melting which made them even better half way through the meal. Overall visit was solid, I will be back to try one of there monster dogs. They have several varieties of topping combinations including the classic Chicago Style. I think my first choice will be the chili dog. I saw one being brought to another table and I almost had to change my mind.
