This is not my regular Vet but I've taken in a stray cat (a few years ago) and more recently a friend's dog. The only reason I scheduled the appointment here versus my regular Vet is because I had a coupon for a free exam. The dog needed a current rabies vaccine to get groomed and I called twice and confirmed both times that I had been there once with a stray cat but I had a coupon for a free exam (for a new client). Being in the (human) medical field, I assumed a "client" is the patient. To be sure, each time I called I addressed it and I was told I would be fine to use the coupon. However, as my gut instinct proved to be correct, as we checked in, I was informed the coupon was void because I (the human) was considered the client. When I mentioned to the young receptionist that I had called twice beforehand and both times I was told I would be able to use the coupon, she simply replied, "yeah." I was so frustrated and we would have walked away but I didn't want to chance being charged a late cancellation fee. The Vet and Vet Tech were nice enough. A quick visit (less than 10 mins) and a rabies vaccine was $63. I cannot give my opinion on the experience of Vet care as both times I've been there, it has been short visits (little interaction with the doctors). I'm sure they're quite qualified. However, I would never take my personal pets to a Banfield.
