My father was brought here after a fall which required surgery. A few days in his phone went missing. Never showed up, assume that it went out on his meal tray. I had to get him a new phone. Apparently when he was admitted they put his wallet in a safe. I had no idea that was done. They moved him to a rehab facility and failed to send his wallet with hm. When I realized what happened I called hospital and talked to a woman in security who told me to come the next day and they would give it to me. So I drove 20 miles to hospital and they refuse to give it to me without a medical power of attorney. Which is a paper I could easily forge. Requires no notary. I may have forged his signature as a teenager when I ditched school but I just can't do that now. I offered to have them call the facility where he is at so he could give permission to release wallet but security supervisor will only accept form which anyone could forge. The social workers were very nice but security is rude and not helpful at all.
