The gondola ride is something fun to do on the strip without a doubt. It's tricky to find the location to pay for the ride, you just need to follow the canal until you stumble upon it. The price is a great deal for how brief the ride is. $29 for the indoor ride.
Money and length aside, it's an enjoyable ride....unless you don't like people watching, because they are. The gondolier sings to you in either English or Italian as you gently are guided along the canal. They are dressed fully in striped shirts, red sash and hats! The seats are comfy and roomy. It's very relaxing. There was no line on Friday night around 6pm which is a benefit.
They also take a bunch of pictures at the beginning that are available for purchase after the ride, along with a little gift shop.
