I was super impressed with this establishment. To begin with, our waiter had an Italian accent. Not sure if it was legit or not, but it added to the ambience and experience of our meal. The waiter asked if we were interested in hearing about the specials. I decided to order the filet mignon special.
The wait for our food was a long one. They did keep our drinks full, and the bread basket and butter held us over.
The filet was melt in your mouth. Absolutely delicious! It was not over cooked, rather, it had just the right amount of pink. The sauce was divine. The green beans were very fresh and quite delicious as well. The mashed potatoes weren't great, nothing to brag about.
After our meal. The waiter asked if we would be having dessert. Uh, duh! I was torn between the Creme brûlée and cheesecake. I decided to go for the Creme brûlée. It was definitely over carmelized and had to scoot most of the over charred to the side.
Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Intimate ambience and wonderful service.
