I absolutely love you Flamingo. You are the best bargain central strip. You bring the old school charm with a younger fun party scene.
Visited 3 different rooms on this trip.
Go Room Suite: We were offered this upgrade before arriving and was worth the extra space. Same as other Go Rooms with an extra living room which had a decent pull out bed. Could easily sleep 6. Nice shower that would fit 3-4 people if wanted a well. (To save water of course ;) )
Standard room: Had friends staying here. It was recently updated and seemed really clean. I was impressed. 3 years ago I stayed in one that was like a Motel 6. Very doable on a budget. (Find a $50/night room anywhere else like this and you'd give it 5*.)
Large Suite (Neopolitan I think? ) Pretty awesome place for your own group party. Had a large bar, dining table, and 3 bed, 3 bath. Overlooking Caesars and fountains. $850 on Saturday night. Split that a few ways though and you are able to feel like you and your crew are part of a movie. Do take out and eat in like a rock star overlooking the strip which you are about to tear up!
The pool has thee best affordable day club scene in the city. They play more mellow music from around 9-11. Then it's cranks up a couple of notches till around 1pm when this place starts really hopping. DJ'S were doing mashups of 70/80's rock and pop to new hip hop beats. They killed. Note, you may see a few, or a few hundred slightly enibriated people shaking to their own groove. This place is more blue collar and less D-bag. (Except us! )
We split a cabana between 10 of us comfortably. $715 total I think which included 1 bottle plus mixers, epic fruit tray, $100 towards other food or bevs. It was the only way I could be at this amazing pool scene from 9am-5pm. Had a tv that no one watched. Best day ever.
You cannot do better for a central location or home base for your Vegas adventures. The hotel was cleaner and friendlier than I remember from past visits. I highly recommend using their online check in so you can go through the key/mail line. I also paid for the early check in for $15. I think that was well worth it to move right in and get the party started. The wait for regular check in looked nuts in the early afternoon every day.
