This location is not the most convenient for us, but we still come because I have a membership through my work. So I mainly stop in for work supplies such as copy paper or laundry detergent which the pricing for these items is competitive and worth the trip.
I'll also stop in for groceries if I'm in this part of Henderson. My wife has also used the bakery to place orders for cakes for one of her work parties and for a graduation party we were also hosting. The cakes weren't anything outstanding but the ordering process was easy and the pricing was about the best compared to other places she looked.
As far as groceries, I'm shopping for a family of 5, so bulk is the way to go to save money and minimize trips to the store. I wish I could speak of significant price differences between Sam's and other bulk competitors, but I can't. All I know is that I'm going to drop a couple hundred bucks every time I visit and everything we get is something we need. I really can't recall any problems with items I've purchased. One major difference I have found though is in meats and seafood. The selection, especially seafood, isn't that large and I'm more impressed with the overall quality at the competitor.
We have been choosing to come here lately because it's more spacious and the stress levels are much lower. You're not playing chicken as much with other shoppers and you don't feel the need to put a turn signal on your cart. I do like the self check out. Just remember only debit and Discover are accepted. I've never had an issue with service or an employee.
The parking lot can be a mess but we just park at the first open spot and walk. The aisles are one way though, so don't be that dummy jamming everything up going the wrong way because you're too good to follow an arrow.
