| - We bought tickets to see Calvin Harris on a Friday night and figured we'd arrive around 11 for a 10pm show. No need to get there early, right? Wrong. We arrived at Caesar's around 11, had a horrible time finding the correct line to get in (Omnia employees had different directions), and then finally got in around midnight. The opener was on until 1:30am and we had a horrible time trying to find a semi-comfortable spot while he was on. We squeezed our way into the center of the club after waiting forever to be allowed one the floor, and then once we were on the dance floor, we could barely move. Others on the floor were pushy (the only way anyone can move!) but then a ton of people just stood around playing on their phones or trying to talk over the music. Definitely not a fun crowd for dancing! Calvin Harris finally came on around 1:30am, and we enjoyed a little bit of the music but called it a night after being shoved, pushed, and squeezed around.
Particularly fun to over hear was what an employee had to say to a bachelorette trying to get into a VIP area: "He gets bored easily - don't let him get bored or else you'll be kicked out of his area. Do you understand what I'm saying?" - I'm curious what that woman was supposed to do to keep him entertained?
I'll also second the $11 tiny Fiji waters, over $20 drinks, and rude employees. If you enjoy personal space and good management, this isn't your club. Too bad, we were really looking forward to seeing a good show!
