Went here a couple days ago because I'm looking for a gym to join. My favorite part about this gym is the vibe of the place. There's a lot of wood everywhere and it has an old school vibe which I liked. All the dumbbells are in great condition and all the machines were in working order. The gym is under the building so you have to take an elevator there and on that floor is the machines, a multi-purpose room, dumbbells, racquetball courts, the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and steam/sauna rooms along with the lockers. To access the weight room you have to take some stairs further down and next to that room is another room with kettle bells and other equipment for additional types of exercises (crossfit, etc.), you have to pay extra to have access to this room though. There's also a basketball court I didn't see but I'm sure its in great condition like everything else was. There was a good amount of people there when I went and I couldn't see it becoming too crowded which is good because I hate having to wait or have people standing over my shoulder waiting for me to finish with something, I'm guessing because its pretty hidden so not too many people know of this place. The only negatives was that you have to park in a garage and walk over to the building which can be a hassle looking for an empty spot but they do validate parking at the gym! Also there was only one bench press station which can be an issue for some people. The biggest reason I didn't join was because its pretty pricey, $42 a month. I asked if there was a student discount but the lady at the front desk told me the best she could do was a promotion they have going on for $20 for 1 month. I forgot the lady's name that was working the front but she was extremely helpful and informative. If I had the extra income I would definitely join this place, maybe sometime in the future. Overall I was very impressed with this place and would recommend to people visiting the city and looking for a place to workout or to anybody who can afford it and is looking for a break from the other cookie cutter franchise gyms.
