  • We have a wedding in our future and I want to look my best as the mother of the groom. With that said, I decided to pay a visit to Seriously Skin, a local Medi Spa that many of my girlfriends have patronized. Seriously Skin is located in the always adorable Chagrin Falls and it is tucked away in a cute little strip on Bell Street. The place itself is darling and very posh. I felt very relaxed while waiting to see Dr. Kish. The staff is so kind as they served me coffee, offered me some lemon water and took the time to discuss my consultation. When I finally went back to meet with Dr. Kish, I knew I had made the right choice. She is such an easy MD to talk to and has wonderful bedside manners. She took the time to evaluate my sun spots and again skin, and also suggested treatments to complete that day. Since I spent many of my days in the sun in my younger years, a laser treatment, named Halo, was suggested. The procedure itself required a little prep for me as I had to take some pain medication and wait a bit with numbing cream, but that was easy and I was properly entertained with music and plenty of magazines. Finally, Dr. Kish and her medical assistant called me in and did the procedure. For those of you who do not know about lasers and skin care, they are incredible. The Halo bores little holes in your skin which promote collagen and growth to the cells as the damage heals. I had an aggressive Halo as I wanted to look my best for my son's wedding, but the downtime was only five days. By this I mean, some redness, swelling, and peeling of skin. However, the results were incredible! I cannot believe that my sin spots have vanished and most of my lines around my eyes and lips are non existent. Yes, I still look like myself, but a fresher and more youthful version of myself. Dr. Kish did all of the appropriate follow ups with me and I was healing well throughout the whole process. It was worth every cent and I am looking forward to going back to discuss some fillers and maybe a wee little bit of Botox. I can see why my friends love her and the whole experience here and if you are a woman who wants to look and feel your best, at any age, consider visiting Seriously Skin. You will glad you did.
