  • I've seen the Phantom in the movies but the extravagantly designed theater, ornate costumes and live performance just takes it up a notch. Since the show is officially ending on September 2, 2012, our crew made a beeline to see it before they pull the plug on this great masterpiece. The flame effects, moving chandeliers, dramatic scenes and heartfelt songs will make you gasp when least expected and move you to tears, okay, maybe not heart sobbing cries, but I definitely got choked up when Christine and Raoul sang "That's all I ask of You" in the rooftop scene. Maybe it's just the softie in me, but there's something about unrequited love that's so romantic, yes? Go see it before it's gone.
